Tangible vs. Intangible
Journaling Prompt: Tangible vs. Intangible, the weight of what anchors you versus the unseen force of what defines you.
The tangible anchors—objects, places, people—offer us stability, a sense of security in the everyday chaos. They are the familiar, the solid, the things we can touch and hold, keeping us grounded in a world often dominated by materialism. But it is the intangible that truly defines us. The quiet voice of our thoughts, the emotions pulsing beneath the surface, the dreams that shape us—these forces, unseen and often unfelt, carve out our sense of self. They are what guide us, what we seek, even when we cannot fully explain why. In the tension between these two realms—what is seen and what is felt—we find the essence of our being. The tangible may anchor us, but it is the intangible that shapes who we become.
