ABOUT

Kamila Aubre is a photographer (film & digital), independent botanical perfumer, and aromatherapist based in Belgium.

In her perfumes, she blends several disciplines, including psychology, classic literature, analogue art, and jazz, with a touch of esotericism and spirituality.

All of the fragrances follow a slow movement approach, emphasizing mindful practices, a connection with objects and materials, and choosing quality over quantity in micro batches and limited editions.

The perfumes are made from 100% natural, sustainable, and mostly organic aromatic materials.

All K.A. perfumes come either package free, as part of low waste philosophy, or with reusable packaging depending on availability.

The brand started in 2018 with the release of three perfumes: Villanelle, Sonnet 98, and Summer 1928. Due to its association with the famous TV show, Killing Eve, Villanelle has remained the best-selling scent to this day. Every few months Villanelle Limited Edition is released which reflects seasonal changes and essential places related to the nuances of the dark human psyche.

In 2019-2022 a series of perfumes inspired by various classic authors and books were released.

In 2023 Psyche Collection and Perfume Oils were introduced.

In 2024-2025 Signature Collection is set to be discontinued within the next few months as part of the conceptual re-branding and transition to a more documentary style in scents based on an intuitive process, marking a unique approach to natural perfume making.

In 2024 Untitled Collection was launched, an ongoing series combining botanical perfume making and a film photography diary.

In 2024 K.A. switched to a ‘One-Batch Botanical Perfumery’ concept.
