ABOUT

Kamila Aubre is a Belgium-based photographer (working with both film and digital mediums), independent botanical perfumer, and aromatherapist.

Her perfumes draw inspiration from a blend of disciplines, including psychology, classic literature, analog art, and jazz, infused with elements of esotericism and spirituality.

Every fragrance adheres to a slow movement philosophy, prioritizing mindful practices, deep connections with materials, and a focus on quality over quantity. All creations are crafted in micro-batches or limited editions using 100% natural, sustainable, and predominantly organic aromatic materials.

K.A. perfumes embrace a low-waste ethos, offered either package-free or with reusable packaging, depending on availability.

The brand was founded in 2018 with the launch of three perfumes: *Villanelle*, *Sonnet 98*, and *Summer 1928*. *Villanelle*, associated with the TV series *Killing Eve*, has remained the most popular fragrance, with seasonal *Villanelle Limited Editions* released to explore nuances of the dark human psyche.

From 2019 to 2022, a series of perfumes inspired by classic authors and literary works debuted. In 2023, the *Psyche Collection* and *Perfume Oils* were introduced.

In 2024-2025, the *Signature Collection* is scheduled to be gradually discontinued as part of a conceptual rebranding, transitioning to a more documentary-style approach. This intuitive process reflects a unique step in natural perfumery.

2024 also saw the launch of the *Untitled Collection*, an ongoing series blending botanical perfumery with a (film photography) diary, and the adoption of the *One-Batch Botanical Perfumery* concept.

The perfumes are hosted in apothecary glass bottles to communicate their authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship. They serve as a tangible extension of K.A.’s story, connecting the products’ physical form with the deeper, timeless themes of human psyche.
